The Observer

In business suits, in college jeans
they live and I observe their dreams

Recovering from drug addled pasts
seizing the day, forgetting lapse

Round here as there as everywhere
Chasing love, fleeing despair

Repeating history's mistakes
Life is life, it's never changed

"Razors pain you, rivers are damp, acids stain you, and drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful, nooses give,
gas smells awful-- you might as well live."

Wonderful poem. It seems to be about suicide to me.
